Reaping the rewards

Our Potty Training Chart and Door Hanger help parents to explain the process to their little ones as well as aid both parent and child throughout the training. The chart and door hanger can be customised with your child’s name, and there’s a space for a photo on the chart, too. You can even encourage your child to pose for the photo on the Family Seat itself, adding another element of fun and helping your child to relax.

Similar in style to the magnet reward system favoured by many parents, our Family Seat Potty Training Chart comes in blue and pink with boxes for your child to tick when they have achieved a certain milestone. This might be asking to use the potty in the first place, sitting on the Family Seat or doing a pee/poo whilst on the seat. The chart has a fun, simple and eye-catching design that’s sure to keep the kids’ attention, and really works to involve them in every step of the process. It will also aid understanding and offer kids a bit of distraction from what might otherwise be a tedious or intimidating process.

Hanging out

The door hanger is designed to deal with one of the trickiest elements of potty training – helping your child to recognise and tell you when they need to go, before having an accident. Many children are embarrassed to admit this need, and the door hanger provides an easy way for them to signal by presenting the hanger to their parent/carer or hanging it on the bathroom door for them to see. The chart also includes a tick box for when your child uses the door hanger, providing a fluid, easy process.

And that’s not all. Our dedicated Family Seat mascots, Freddie and Georgia, are also on hand for a bit of encouragement. Created to assist the visual process and keep things as fun and light-hearted as possible, these colourful little dragons appear on the potty training chart, door hanger and certificate that kids receive when they have successfully learnt to use the Family Seat on their own. Available to download at the end of the process, this certificate is signed by Freddie or Georgia The Dragon and congratulates your child on being a “big kid”.

Protection and perfection

Family Seat is proud to be recognised as a specialist brand within the baby & child industry, with many of our customers praising the thought and effort we have put into creating user-friendly products. That’s why we also sell individual toolkits for families who are toilet training more than one child. These also come in very handy to assist an uninterrupted training process and avoid confusing your child if, for example, you wish to take the toolkit with you to the grandparents’ house.

We believe that parents also deserve a little dedicated help of their own, which is why every toilet comes complete with a pair of disposable gloves to pop on during the seat fitting. For those who fear an Ikea flat-pack situation, there’s no need to be concerned. Our toilets are designed to be easy to use with step-by-step instructions to help you out along the way.
