Thank you for purchasing a Family Seat. Here follows the Terms & Conditions of the 5 and 10 year manufacturing warranty. Please read this carefully and keep it together with your purchase receipt for future reference.

5 and 10 Year Guarantees

Please note that each product is guaranteed against defective material or assembly of material under normal usage. The guarantee applies to the original purchaser and covers faulty parts and the labour involved in replacing and repairing those parts, which are of original manufacture. To claim you must have proof of purchase.

The guarantee does not cover:
 

• General wear and tear on the product.
   
• Any depreciation or damages caused by ordinary wear, rusting or corrosion, lack of correct maintenance or operation, misuse, abuse or accidental or intentional damage, abnormal storage, non-compliance with safety regulations and warnings given in the operating instructions, incorrect installation, faulty repairs or repairs carried out by parties other than us or our authorised agents, external influences (e.g. weather, transit damage), visual blemishes such as marks and dents, use of non-approved accessories, care products, or spare parts or failure or damage caused as a result of parts or accessories being modified without our written approval.

Liability

We shall not be liable for loss of goods, loss of use, or any special, indirect, or pure economic loss, costs, damages, charges or expenses except for liability that we are not allowed to exclude by law, such as death resulting from negligence by us or damage incurred as a result of fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation by us.

Your legal rights reserved

Consumers have legal (statutory) rights under applicable national laws relating to the sale of consumer products. This guarantee does not affect statutory rights you may have nor those rights that cannot be excluded or limited, nor rights against the person from whom you purchased the product. You may assert any rights you have at your sole discretion. Advice about your legal rights is available from your local Citizens Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office.

Transferability

The guarantee is non-transferable and is personal to the original purchaser.

Law and language

This guarantee (including any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with the same) will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and each party submits to the jurisdiction of England and Wales. All documents to be furnished or communications to be given or made under this guarantee shall be in the English language.
